Job Summary:
Carries and presents food items to the food cart to maintain proper levels of product at all times. Maintains cleanliness and presentation of food cart lines. Assure our guests a quality product on a consistent basis and in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Carries food from kitchen to food cart and places it for service.
Responsible for the food presentation and eye appeal of all food.
Strong sense of product identification.
Employee will provide quick and friendly service to all customers.
Greets customers and processes cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change, while presenting a receipt to the customer.
Cleans register and food areas, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, tables, storage areas and lounge areas at assigned station.
Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
Performs all side work and stocking of supplies at assigned station.
Maintains presentation and cleanliness of food cart throughout shift.
Must be aware of waste and cost control.
Must have a sense of urgency to serve customers promptly.
Must maintain standards for grooming and sanitation at all times.
Must report any safety hazards to a supervisor.
Must maintain a helpful and courteous relationship with all guests and co-workers.
Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourage others to do the same.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Prior food experience preferred. Must be able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
Must be able to read, write, and follow directions effectively;
Must have a sense of urgency to serve customers properly.
Ability to lift and carry large objects weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull 300 lbs on a cart or dolly.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Mobility to move around the work area easily.
Strong sense of product identification.
Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
Auditory range must include immediate environment
Visual range must include near distances

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
