Provides service to our guests by serving drink orders, suggesting menu items, anticipating needs and answering questions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Servers in Four Winds are responsible to ensure their station areas are fully served with appropriate supplies and needs. The Food server performs ''service checks'' with each guest and works collaboratively with the Serving Assistant to ensure that the needs of the patrons are met. Responsible for complete service of the table including: taking orders, knowing and suggesting menu items, knowledge of wines, clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables. Sincerely greet each guest at his/her table with a smile within 90 seconds of seating. Obtains meal orders and enters them into the micro system for preparation by kitchen personnel; must know, suggest and up-sell menu items. Must know the script and hours/days of operation; must complete running, post and pre shift side work requirements. Serves beverages and ensures that glasses are full throughout the entire meal. Meticulously cleans and resets dining room tables and booths. Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for every guest. Genuinely thanks the guest and completes cash, and comp transactions and anticipates every guest need. Accepts and seeks coaching for performance improvement; adheres to appearance, uniform, internal control, property procedures and policy standards.
Minimum 1-year previous serving experience, preferred. Must have exceptional guest service skills, including excellent communication skills, including speaking Asian/Thai/Vietnamese. Must be focused on being part of a team to ensure excellent guest service for every guest, every time. Must be able to stand and walk, entire shift. Must be able to obtain a Bossier Parish Alcohol Ordinance Card (ABO). Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Responsible Vendors (LACT) within first 45 days of employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
