Responsibilities:
Confer with management, production, and project management to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Plan and direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
Manage multi-discipline engineers and designers for the development of project specifications, calculations, design basis documents, and manufacturing drawings.
Provides direction and leadership within the project environment to groups of technical personnel. Ensures that project schedules are achieved as well as the technical accuracy of work product.
Ensures that work is executed in accordance with approved work processes using standard tools which have been adopted by the Company.
Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
Oversee management of Bill of Materials creation and maintenance.
Coordinate responses to production for CFR''s (Condition Found Report) as it relates to Engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)
Minimum 5 years experience, 10
preferred
